egg shell chalk out come

The egg chalk has a wonderful texture about it so far, we only left it to cure for one day instead of three so it was still slightly brittle and snapped in half. We also may need to make a thicker stick of chalk to make it stronger.

The colour came up very well.

Would be harder to mould than plaster of paris as the mixture isn’t as runny.

We need to work on a new ingredient as a binding material? A natural resin of some kind?

The chalk process is fun and more desirable than the plaster of paris as it has more to the recipe. It is a natural substitute to plaster of paris and makes use of an unwanted item.
